Though the general consensus is that Opeth continues to hinder their title as one of the greatest metal bands of all time, in my eyes Opeth can do no wrong and Pale Communion is no exception. They are unmatched in their exceptional songwriting and musicianship. For me, this album just cements them as the greatest metal band of the past 20 years.
