There is no doubt that Charli XCX has been quite the trailblazer for what is to come in pop music. No album was more fun to listen to in 2014 and it is also a plus that, unlike the majority of pop stars today, she writes her own music and excels at adding a razor sharp edge to the sometimes stagnant pop music form.
