If you look at the majority of other music websites, you can only conclude that this album is widely considered to be one of Cynic's worst releases. However, in my opinion, it was just another stellar work of art from one of progressive metal's godfathers. Maybe it was too pop oriented for some fans but, no other metal band can do what Cynic does and excel at it as well.
